Challenge #79 Winners

Hi everyone!  We loved seeing what you created with the our Clean and Simple "Tag It!" challenge this week!  Thank you for sharing your craftiness with us!   Let's see what caught the eye of the Design Team:

Nance's Choice: Vicky Hayes

Clean and simple but absolutely stunning...Vicky's gorgeous card really stood out of this week's gallery for me.  The layout is utterly clean and simple but all the better to highlight the beautiful floral image and the unique textile look of stamping on textured cardstock. And speaking of highlighting, the shadow “painting” Vicky added with a marker around the image is a fabulous way to add dimension to this clean card—the flowers POP off the page!  Congratulations, Vicky, you’re my choice for A Cut Above!

Ann's Choice:

Cute and clever were the first two words that came to my mind when I saw this card.  I love the contrast of the red "L" as well as the ribbon that holds the tags together.  The textured panel, with its rounded corners, adds to the interest.  With an abundance of white space, N@ has designed a perfect example of a clean and simple card! Congratulations on being my choice for A Cut Above!

Anne Marie's Choice:

Kerin's card gets three cheers from me! Cheers for the bright & happy color combo, cheers for the beautiful design and cheers for the fabulous CAS-style! I just love all of the crisp layers and that fun-tastic image has me ready to hit the beach for a relaxing vacation, with a fruity beverage in-hand. Ahhh! Adding the cheerful cherry to the sentiment was a such great touch, too. Congratulatons, Kerin on being my choice for A Cut Above this week!

Lesley's Choice

Diane's card is SO completely gorgeous, I admired her use of colour and her fabulous watercolouring on the white embossed flowers.  The subtle flower image embossed again in the background and the sweet bow with the wee tags, all create a lovely feminine card!  Such a pretty creation! Congratulations Diane on being my choice for A Cut Above this week!

LeAnne's choice: Narelle Farrugia

This card popped right out at me when I saw it in the gallery!  First, the colors are DELISH!  Some of my favorites!  Her watercoloring and detailed cutting really makes her floral image seem to be almost three-dimensional, and the sketch and embellishments she used were outstanding!  Congratulations, Narelle, for being my Cut Above!

For our Headliner:
Jaydee's Choice: Kim
Joyful Creations with Kim

Kim's card drew me back again and again.  All of the little details Kim put into this card really appealed to my CAS heart.  The framed tag echoed the framed background image.  The monochromatic pink and white was gorgeous, however, the little hint of green on the card and the stripe on the baker's twine added just the right pop of color.  The overall card is soft and soothing - perfect for a get well card.  Kim, congratulations on being my HEADLINER this week.  Your card is gorgeous.
Thank you for joining us!  We will be back tomorrow with a sketch challenge from Anne Marie.  See you then!
