PP326 Challenge Winners

Hi everyone!  LeAnne here...I had SO MUCH FUN looking at everyone's recycled creations this week...I think this might have been my favorite challenge ever!  You are all so creative in what you save and how you use those saved items; some are beautiful and some are just downright funny!

Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the design team.

And now, for our Headliner:

Shawna
The Grand Stampede

Shawna's card came in at the last minute, and once I saw the Campbell's soup label, I couldn't wait to see how she used it!  Her fun technique with the words and letters made this creation visually interesting, and the little heart made it even more extra special!  And everyone knows chicken soup makes you feel better!  A wonderful way to recycle that label!  Congrats, Shawna, for being my Headliner this week!

Thank you again to everyone for playing along with us!  Congratulations to all our winners, please pick up your badges here.

PP325 Challenge Winners

Hi Everyone.  On behalf of all of the Paper Players, I want to thank you for playing along with our challenges this year.  We have greatly enjoyed visiting your fabulous submissions and cannot wait to see you again in the New Year.

It was wonderful to see the gold, silver and white creations you all made this week - and the choice for winners was, as always, difficult.  The design team selected a wonderful cross-section of designs for their Cut Above Choices.

Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the design team.

And now, for our Headliner:

Wendy
I fell in love with Wendy's gorgeous sparkly card.   The Christmas tree with the stars is just perfect - especially with the cut outs on the diamond and the simple stars scattered around the card.  It's an explosion of festive joy - and is CAS perfection.   Congratulations, Wendy.  You are our final HEADLINER of the year.

Thank you again to everyone for playing along with us!  Congratulations to all our winners, please pick up your badges here.  We hope you will join us for our first challenge of 2017 on January 8th!

There is still time to play in Challenge #325: Jaydee's Colour Challenge & New Guest Designers

It's Joanne here to remind you that there is still time to play in Challenge #325: Jaydee's Color Challenge. To see the original post and to view the Design Team's inspiration cards, click HERE. So if you'd like a break from those festive chores, why not take some time out to get crafty - we can't wait to see what you create! This challenge ends Friday, December 16th at Noon, PST.

Today I also have the pleasure of introducing three new guest designers that will be joining us for the first six months of 2017. These ladies are outstanding design talents and regular members of the Paper Players challenges and we are delighted that they have agreed to join us to inspire you with their creative takes on our challenge each week. In their own words, here's a little more information about each of them to help you get to know them better:

Three Trees {paper} Creations

Hi! Some of you may know me as "Three Trees", but my friends and family just call me Deanne.  I have been paper crafting basically all of my life.  I made my first scrapbook when I was five (and still have it today!) and haven’t stopped since.

I live right smack-dab in the middle of Canada (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to be exact), so to keep warm and cozy indoors I continued scrapbooking.  Then I realized that I would rather share my hobby with others and started card creating.  I have been crafting cards since 2008 and love it more every day!
I am SO excited to be a part of The Paper Players - let the fun begin!!!

My name is Valentyna.  I am a happy mom of two smart kids, who keep me active and busy. I am a piano teacher. I like teaching and have enjoyed it for 20 years. As we moved to Canada I fell in love with paper crafting. Stamps, inks, die cuts, embellishments are wonderful to play with. I love sewing and cross stitch too and have many small and big projects done in the last few years.
At Flourishtina.com I like to share my creations with friends and fellow crafters. I will be happy to see you there.

Crystal Komara
ckomara@comcast.net

Hi, I'm Crystal! I live in Westfield, Massachusetts with my husband and our two feline furbabies.  I've always been a crafty person, but when my Stampin' UP! demo moved to Maine in 2012, I signed up to help keep her local stamp camp group together.  Best. Move. Ever.  I only wish I had done it years before!

I work crazy, insane full-time hours all over New England as a forensic photographer, so when I'm home, I'm stamping.  I tend to favor clean and layered looks with lots of neutral colors, although I am slowly embracing  all things "cutesy."

I am a Pinterest loving, Swedish Fish eating, Kate Middleton crushing, Vanilla chai drinking, country music listening, super relaxed kinda girl.   I'm excited to be a guest designer for The Paper Players for the next 6 months.
I hope you will enjoy my creations and I can't wait to inspire you!

Aren't they a great bunch?! We are very much looking forward to working with you ladies.

PP324 Challenge Winners

Wow, snowflakes are popular!  What a beautiful gallery of snowy delights.  Thank you to everyone for filling our challenge with your gorgeous snowflake creations.

Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the design team.

And now, for our Headliner:

Vicki Finger
Twinkling Paper Studio
There is so much to love about Vicki's gorgeous card.  I sighed with happiness the minute I saw it in the gallery.  The beautiful snowflakes shimmer with elegance and I admire the seemingly random placement--always difficult to achieve.  Love that scalloped card base and the turquoise background....swoon!  Congratulations Vicki, you're my choice for this week's Headliner!

Thank you again to everyone for playing along with us!  Congratulations to all our winners, please pick up your badges here.  Be sure to come back tomorrow for an elegant color challenge from Jaydee--and our last challenge of 2016!
